A fire that tore through a North Park home Monday was knocked down in just 20 minutes, thanks to a swift response from firefighters.
The non-injury blaze erupted shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Hamilton Street, just east of Texas Street and south of Polk Avenue, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The cause of the fire, which displaced three residents, remained unclear in the early evening, SDFRD spokesperson Candace Hadley said.
