At LEAP 2026, stc showcases how it is helping build the digital layer of a growing economy

At LEAP 2026, stc group is showing what digital transformation looks like in practice. As strategic partner for the fifth consecutive year, the region’s leading digital enabler is offering showcases across tourism, sports, logistics and construction that demonstrate how digital capabilities can become part of the operations they support. The opportunity lies in turning technology into something that works across real processes — where people, systems and physical infrastructure come together seamlessly.

Making destinations more responsive

The clearest example is in tourism. Destinations have access to vast amounts of information about visitors, weather and environmental conditions, the crucial part is turning that data into a better visitor experience.

stc is showcasing technology developed with Red Sea Global that uses information to personalize that experience. A 3D map combines live weather and environmental information to generate activity recommendations for individual visitors, updating them as conditions change. A central operations platform gives teams a single view across the destination’s properties. This can help the destination respond to changing conditions while giving visitors a more tailored experience.

Finding talent beyond the traditional pipeline

Sport presents a different challenge: finding and developing talent at scale. Traditional scouting depends on established networks and access to specialist facilities. The global sports technology market is now worth close to $39 billion. Digital tools can widen that reach.

stc’s National Athlete App uses digital assessments of skill and movement to identify potential beyond traditional scouting routes. At the Tech Lab, functional movement screening and the 360 SoccerBot give athletes and coaches more detailed performance information, while data from Mahd Academy can inform decisions during the same training session. Together, these tools can help coaches identify and develop talent. Meanwhile, stc’s fiber connects 19 stadiums, supporting live sport and content reaching audiences worldwide.

Keeping goods, people and operations connected

Logistics has a different constraint: distance. Goods, vehicles, and people are constantly moving between locations.

stc’s logistics showcases help operators keep track of goods and monitor what is happening on the road. Cameras monitor roads for accidents, congestion and other hazards. Technology also helps track cargo, connect remote locations and measure truck loads automatically. This gives operators better visibility across the journey and earlier warning of potential problems.

Keeping information useful for the life of a building

Construction projects span years, and information can easily become fragmented as responsibility shifts between teams. It is one of the least digitized sectors globally, with productivity growing at around one percent a year over two decades.

stc’s construction showcase includes its Contractor App, which brings teams and project information together, alongside tools that give site managers a clearer view of progress and safety. The approach covers the project from planning through to the finished building.

Beyond the four sector showcases

There is more on display beyond the four main areas. stc is also showcasing ways technology can support sensitive government data, healthcare, water management, agriculture and environmental protection. This includes a Smart Wellness Mirror that captures key vital signs in around 45 seconds, Medical VR for clinical training, and tools that use satellite and drone data to support farming and protect marine ecosystems.

Building digital capability into the foundations

The significance of these showcases goes beyond individual technologies. Saudi Arabia is developing new destinations, infrastructure and industries at the same time, creating an opportunity to build digital capability into how they operate from the outset rather than add it later. Together, stc’s showcases are showing how technology can support the way a growing economy works, from tourism and sport to logistics and construction.
