Google’s latest AI assistant ‘Gemini Spark’ now supports Thai language
Google has officially launched Gemini Spark in Thailand, an intelligent AI agent that fully supports the Thai language and operates 24/7 on behalf of users. The service will be available to subscribers of Google AI Pro and AI Ultra packages.
Gemini Spark is an AI agent capable of running continuously in the background, even when the user closes the application or locks their device. The AI integrates seamlessly with Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Powered by the latest Gemini 3.6 Flash model, the system quickly processes complex, multi-step workflows. It can independently prioritize tasks, perform analyses and make decisions, featuring a user interface that delivers real-time progress notifications.
On the security front, Gemini Spark is designed to always request user consent before accessing files or handling sensitive personal data, such as sending emails or processing financial transactions. (continues below)
Google Thailand highlighted several practical use cases for Gemini Spark:
1. Travel planning: Automatically extract flight reservation details from inbox emails into a Google Sheet with a specified filename, while identifying local activities during the trip and adding them to Google Calendar.
2. Event discovery: Identify nearby events matching user interests and update a Google Docs file every Friday at 8am with essential details for further reading.
3. Conditional tasks: Log into the PickleMe app every Tuesday at 8am to check for available indoor courts. If only outdoor courts are open, send an alert only when the weather forecast indicates clear skies.
4. Data organisation: Search Gmail for wedding RSVPs, compile guests’ dietary restrictions into a structured Google Sheet and draft a summary email for the event organiser.
5. Subscription management: Review the previous month’s invoices in Gmail on the first day of every month, notify the user of any subscription price increases and draft cancellation emails where necessary.
Google said Gemini Spark will officially roll out to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra package subscribers in the coming weeks.
